Nine Payson Community Christian Students (PCCS) third- and fourth-grade students recently returned from a trip to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky.
Administrator Patricia Fleeger, teacher Anne Skeens and five parent chaperons went along to tour the 70,000-square-foot museum that brings the pages of the Bible to life with things like a display of Adam and Eve living in the Garden of Eden and the building of Noah’s Ark.
In addition to the walking tour, students attended three of the four workshops including “Fun with Genesis One.”
Students raised money for the trip through community dinners, raffles and both private and business donations.
Other field trips for PCCS classes included Sea World and the San Diego Zoo in California and the Biosphere in Tucson.
