We would like to thank the American Legion Riders Post 69 of Payson again this year for all of their hard work to create another successful annual Charity Fun Run for Payson Supply Line.
This is such a fun and incredible event and we want to thank everyone who participated. The thousands of dollars always raised at this event go such a long way in helping to support our troops. This event continues to provide the Payson Supply Line with the biggest donation that we receive all through the year.
To all of you wonderful and hard-working folks at the American Legion, the food was delicious, the band was amazing, the auction and raffle items were great, and we know the riders had a great time.
We thank all the auction and raffle item donors and everyone who donated financially to our cause. Your care and concern for those still fighting in Afghanistan is truly appreciated!
We would also like to say thank you to all of our regular donors who are faithful to send donations throughout the year. We never take you for granted and continue to be thankful for your support.
We want to give a special thanks to Garry Johnson (always a faithful supporter) and the rest of the “Plan B” band for the special fund-raising event they did for us at one of their concert events. You are all such awesome people and are always there to support our troops!
Since our mission began in January of 2005, the Payson Supply Line has mailed out just over 1,800, 35-pound care packages to our troops stationed in the war zones. We will continue this mission until all of our troops have returned home.
If you have a friend or loved one in the military stationed in Afghanistan at this time, be sure to contact us with their name and mailing address so we can send some care packages to them. There is plenty included for them to share with their fellow troops and there is no cost to you. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (928) 474-6968 or (928) 474-6981.
Thank you all again and may God richly bless you.
Butch and Kathy Klein,
Lud and Marian Kaftan
