The list of awards made at the Strawberry Patchers 17th Annual Quilt Show looks almost as abundant as the entries. Awards included first- through third-place ribbons in 11 different categories, 10 special awards, plus the Best of Show and Novice awards. That totals 45 awards.

The event filled the cultural hall at the Pine Community Center with row upon row of beautiful fabric art. Show chair Elaine Putnam said more than 700 people attended, some from as far away as Sierra Vista.

Best of Show honors went to Patty McKinney and Sue Loomis landed the Novice Award.
