The Payson Unified School District (PUSD) has gone electronic with its school board agenda.
Following in the footsteps of the Gila County Board of Supervisors and the Town of Payson, PUSD now offers the community the opportunity to download minutes, proposals, agreements, lists, budgets, financials and any other document the board receives in its packet.
“I don’t know if everyone has had the pleasure to see our new board books, but because we’re electronic, we will save several trees in Payson,” said Superintendent Ron Hitchcock at the June 5 board meeting. “Caron (Hatch, board secretary) took the time to learn the program and we thank you.”
This was the first meeting where attendees could sit in their seats with iPads or smart phones, login to http://v3.boardbook.org/Public/PublicHome.aspx?ak=1001108 and follow along with board members to see the same documents they worked off of to make decisions.
No more excuses for not knowing what’s going on.
