“Jury acquits man of assault charges.” — The justice system in the Rim Country and Payson leaves a lot to be desired.
They try a case about a barroom brawl between two inebriated men — a minor case at most.
But the defense attorney, prosecutors and judge keep putting off the Balas Gasoa murder case for killing his 2-year-old daughter.
If they’re inept at trying him for murder, why did they charge him with it?
And if it’s pleaded to a lesser charge, that puts the bell on the cat about the Rim Country and Payson justice system.
