Mourn Victims Of Abortion

Editor:

As a nation we have sadly come together and mourned the death of 20 innocent children in Newtown, Conn.

Why, as a nation, can we not come together and actually mourn the death of 55 million unborn American children murdered by abortion? And then put an end to this American atrocity by overturning 40 years of Roe V. Wade?

State sanctioned and funded abortion lies at the core of this nation's moral decline. How can anyone be expected to place any value on human life when we so easily look the other way as millions of the most innocent amoung us, are systematically "terminated". I suspect we will see many more incidents such as Newtown, Conn. since the nation has sent the message, through abortion, that life is of little to no consequence and can be taken arbitraily and without compassion. We are now reaping what we have sown.
