Payson Elks

Elks members and guests are welcome to enjoy lunch at the Lodge from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; Friday dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday dinner from noon to 5 p.m.

Every Friday there is Karaoke from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Every Sunday there is Bingo at 1 p.m. and a Pool Tournament at 4:30 p.m. with Happy Hour from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Unity of Payson

Unity of Payson meets at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 26 at the Central Arizona Board of Realtors Office, 600 E. Highway 260. The service will be lead by Michelle Abraham, who will discuss “Knowing Your Truth.”

Overeaters Anonymous

Overeaters Anonymous meets from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays at the Rim Country Health and Retirement Community Room, 807 W. Longhorn Road (after turning in the main driveway, turn right at the first driveway. The Community Room is in the center of the apartment complex). There are no fees or dues. The only membership requirement is a desire to not compulsively overeat anymore.

Buddhist Meditation and Study Group

Payson Area Singles

This group has no dues. Its Tuesday Morning Breakfast Bunch meets at Journigan House on Historic Main St., Payson, every week at 9 a.m. to visit and plan future activities.

Rim Country Corvettes is a local group of Corvette owners who enjoy driving their special cars and meeting new Corvette owners with the same interests. There is a monthly run that members are alerted to via the Internet, with a meeting location in Payson and other details. TOPS moves

TOPS 0373 Payson (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter has changed its meeting place from Shiloh Christian Fellowship to the Senior Circle, 215 N. Beeline Highway, Payson. The group still meets every Thursday morning.

The weigh-in starts at 7:20 a.m. and the meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 9:30 a.m.

Canasta Saving Graces Card Group

Nar-Anon 

Nar-Anon is a 12-step program designed to help relatives and friends of addicts recover from the effects of living with an addicted relative or friend.

Christ-Centered Recovery

Christ-Centered Recovery group meets at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at Calvary Chapel Payson, 1103 N. Beeline Highway.

The group uses a faith-based discipleship program called One Step to Freedom. The purpose is more than to merely free dependent persons from their dependency on drugs, alcohol, or other substances, including overeating or gambling; it is also designed to bring people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. This is done by breaking down the strongholds that have kept members chained to an unproductive and destructive lifestyle. Childcare is provided.
