The Dina Preston Band will start rocking the Payson Event Center at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 1 and be performing throughout the day until 2 p.m.

The Dina Preston Band has performed in 40 countries and on more than 20 world tours for our troops and U.S. embassies. It has been called “5 Bands in One” and is known by U.S. embassies, the U.S. State Department and the Pentagon’s Armed Forces Entertainment Department as “Ambassadors of Goodwill.”

The band has performed in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. It has made appearances in Russia through a corporate cultural exchange program and toured for five weeks in South Korea to entertain U.S. troops and their families.

Locally they participated in Super Bowl XXX, performed for the Suns, at Luke Air Force Base and for the state centennial celebration and the Fiesta Bowl.

The band has a broad range of songs in its repertoire: country/Americana, classic rock, variety and even jazz for dinner engagements. It also has a number of original works it performs.

Expect to hear a little bit of everything as The Dina Preston Band keeps things upbeat and fun at the 2013 Mountain High Games from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 1 at the Payson Event Center.
