Rep. Barton Owes Constituents An Apology

Editor:

Let’s be clear. No one has challenged Brenda Barton’s right of speech. What is rightly challenged is her use of it.

As citizens of a town she allegedly represents, many of us believe we deserve dignity and truthfulness in our representative. She exhibits neither in her recent rant.

Her self-righteous remarks rebuking a challenger for their lack of knowledge about Hitler only highlights her own lack of that knowledge.

Hitler was never elected by the public. His political party received a plurality vote and he later basically commandeered the role as leader.

He did not institute health care. Health care in Germany was originally begun in the 1880s under Bismark.

He did not originate firearms restrictions. They were in place before he took control, and were tightened later to prevent Jews from owning guns.

National forest employees are certainly not “thugs” for doing a duty approved by one Congress while operating under very restrictive conditions imposed by another one.

Being wrong is no sin, but being belligerent and offensive certainly deserves an apology to her constituents.

Mr. Collins, you may be right about the analogy Barton used as Obama being the same as Hitler. Actually, the correct analogy would have been that Obama has demonstrated a historical similarity to the actions of STALIN. Stalin was much more covert in his policy's of subjugation of his country's people and making the State the control and provider of all needs. As long as you complied to his dictates, you were allowed to exist. If not, off to forced labor for the State or you just disappeared. Much more similar to the obvious seeded socialist agenda of Obama.

Noble, You liberials keep wanting to change the narritive. I don't care what Ms Barton said. She may not be exactly correct on her history. Does not matter. Obama is a socialist. If you support him ....you are a socialist. It is real simple....just tell us who you you are.

Oh, Noble. As usual, your lack of principles are showing.

Hitler did not commandeer his role as leader; he was appointed Chancellor and had his Brown Shirts intimidate the Reichstag until they passed the Enabling Act of 1933, giving him the authority to make law without involving the Reichstag -- using the same technique Barry Soetoro, alias Barack Obama, used to intimidate at least ten Democrats to vote for his ObamaCare package by threatening martial law, riots in the streets, and other terrible consequences if they didn't. This is on the Congressional Record.

Health Care was indeed begun in 1883 by Otto Von Bismarck. Hitler subverted it to the study of eugenics in an effort to prove the Aryan Race was superior to someone, anyone, especially the Jews. The effort failed miserably, but he never released that information.

No, Hitler did not originate firearms restrictions. Just like every other genocide in history, the government first imposing the firearm restrictions was the government prior to the one conducting the genocide. Hitler merely tightened up the firearm restrictions and applied them against the factions of people he wanted to scapegoat, after first drumming up hatred for those factions with propaganda -- just like Barry Soetoro, alias Obama, is doing with his government apparatchiks proclaiming Christians, Constitutionalists, Tea Partiers, and returning veterans are or might be "domestic terrorists."

That's why the American people en masse will not comply with federal color of law imposing gun control or henceforth, any other legislation without Constitutional authority. The rogue occupation government can go pound sand.

And BTW, the updated German Nazi Weapon Law Hitler passed to disarm the Jews and anyone else not sucking up to his Third Reich, when translated to English, is nearly a word-for-word analog of the Gun Control Act of 1968 written by Senator Thomas J. Dodd. And we know Dodd had access to a copy.

Obama didn't originate gun control either, but he sure as heck wants to Hitlerize it, doesn't he?

It is not Rep. Brenda Barton who should apologize to her constituents; it is Noble Collins who should apologize to anyone suckered by his leftist propaganda straight from the Marxist playbook.

Ted your hate is showing. Maybe it's just the one to many Legion beers talking?

Ted, Again you have shown that you have nothing to contribute to the discussion. All you can do is throw insults. At least Noble can put a thought into a sentence. Again I say that all you are is a troll. I thought you had said goodbye to this forum...I would welcome you keeping your word. As for a battle of wits...you showed up to a gunfight with a pocket knife.
