College Quandary

Yet, another excuse, one of many, why there is a problem with building an ASU campus.

Why don’t the people responsible for the college being built just come out and admit that it’s not going to happen in the near future and maybe never?

The Roundup should delve into the real reasons a college campus isn’t going to be built and report this to its readers.

And also report why a 500-room conference hotel isn’t going to be built.

Time for the people of the Rim Country and Payson to wake up from their pipe dream and face the reality that there isn’t going to be a campus nor a hotel.

Mr. Clayton, Your statements insinuate that you know something about the college and hotel not going forward. If you do, please share it with the rest of us. Your last sentence states that we should wake up and face the reality that they won't be built. That sounds pretty definite to me...where are you getting your information? My last question for you is simple. Are you for or against the college and hotel being built? I think I already know the answer.....nice try.

I agree with Rex. Where is Mr. Clayton getting his info? Right now Mr. Clayton sounds like someone who doesn't want the college and is muddying the waters about it. It may be going slowly, but progress is being made and we need it. My only gripe, is that it is ASU and a graduate campus of sorts, where I'd like to see a good 4 year school.

go to the ASU newspaper site and type in ASU Payson.

Pat, I did exactly what you said. I found nothing supporting Mr. Clayton's comments.
