The Payson Senior Circle of the Payson Regional Medical Center will present two programs on health insurance next week.
There will be a program on 2014 Medicare Opportunities from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9 with Tom Russell.
Understand how Medicare works, along with Medicare Advantage Plans, Part D Rx plans, and Medicare Supplements. This program, presented by independent health insurance broker Tom Russell, helps you understand the fine print and rarely discussed options, so you can make wise decisions on your Medicare health plan selections for 2014, improve your coverage, and perhaps save money. This seminar will also touch on ObamaCare’s impact on Medicare beneficiaries.
This event is for educational purposes only and no plan-specific benefits or details will be shared.
Later that afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, Russell and Debra Beda will discuss the Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicaid Expansion at the Senior Circle.
This seminar is for people under 65 and not yet on Medicare, who want to understand how the new health care law impacts them. How do the exchanges work, who qualifies for subsidies, what should you look for when you select a health plan? This session is open to Senior Circle members as well as the general public.
To reserve a seat at either or both programs, call (928) 472-9290 at least 48 hours in advance of the program (the Circle closes at noon Fridays). The Senior Circle is at 215 N. Beeline Highway, Payson.
