Calculus is not regularly required for college and it is not required for a bachelor’s degree, which 90 percent of the students in the district will receive if they graduate.
So calculus is low on the priority for any college. So forget about making a point of cutting calculus.
As for students going to top rated schools. What is considered “top rated”? Besides, if they don’t have the grades, they won’t be accepted to top rated schools.
