A machine fuses two sections of the high-strength plastic pipe together before this section of pipe is pulled into the trench and the trench is back-filled.

Crews continue to lay additional sections of water pipe to bring water from the Blue Ridge Reservoir to Payson.

Salvador Nava sets pipe in the bottom of a trench along Tyler Parkway.

A machine fuses two sections of the high-strength plastic pipe. This pipe will deliver reservoir water to the country clubs for irrigation and to the site of the proposed university campus.

The pipe bypasses the filtration plant on Houston Mesa Road to provide untreated water for irrigation. The pipeline will more than double the town’s water supply, giving the town water to sell.

So, help us out here. The untreated water Cragin pipe to Chaparral Pines golf course, Rim Club golf course, and the maybe ASU University, is being laid and set up to flow first????

Don: Maybe those folks out there need the water more than we do. If they get to use it for their golf courses and possibly their swimming pools. Doesn't quite seem fair and why is the proposed university getting the water piped to them? do they have an agreement already signed with the Town for this? I didn't think the Town would be out any money for the University. But who is paying for the pipeline to be run out there? Again lots of unanswered questions!
