The May 24 Payson Sprint Triathlon features a 500-yard swim, a 14-mile bike ride and a 5-kilometer run.

Following the swim portion, racers set off on a two-loop bike course totaling 14 miles. This challenging course offers a variety of elevation changes and beautiful scenery.

Contestants then must undertake a 5-kilometer run on a flat course through Payson residential neighborhoods starting at the bike transition and finishing at the south end of Rumsey Park finish line.

All pre-registered participants will receive a race shirt, with a deadline of Saturday, May 3. Later registrants may not get a shirt. The top 100 finishers also receive a participation medal.

This race will be chip timed by CEP Timing, with awards for the top three male and female individuals in each age category. The top three teams will receive awards as well as the top male, female, and team overall champion award.
