“These are the times that try men’s souls” is just as relevant today as it was in 1776, made clear by Thomas Paine. Make no mistake — freedom in America hangs in the balance.
I propose this is our nation to save.
The federal government is broken and incapable or unwilling to fix itself. Washington, D.C. has bankrupted us, seized our state’s power and stolen our liberty. Even good politicians are handcuffed by burdens of bureaucracy.
Ready for a solution as big as the problem? The Constitution has the answer.
If you haven’t heard about the Article V movement and the Convention of States (COS) Project, I encourage you to look them up.
Just like Congress can propose amendments at any time, a Convention of States would be able to discuss, draft, and vote upon amendment proposals that limit the federal government’s power.
I’m choosing to preserve liberty by volunteering for the Convention of States Project in Arizona, will you join this grass roots effort?
Arizona Representative Kelly Townsend has dropped bill HCR 2027 AZ COS January 24th, 2014 to limit the scope, power and jurisdiction of the federal government. Let’s encourage our Arizona state representatives to have Arizona join Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Alaska and New Mexico who have already filed. Call your representative today.
The stakes are too high for small-scale solutions. Doing nothing is no longer an option.
Stand up. Speak up. Show up.
