Farewell for the Wolfs

Residents of the Rim Country are invited to a farewell gathering in honor of departing Payson Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Chris Wolf and his wife, Mary.

The reception, with a no-host bar, is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27 at the Payson Golf Course, 1504 W. Country Club Drive.

Smart Driver Course

This course is designed for the older driver.

The Smart Driver Course has been redesigned to be more participant friendly, with six units of instruction instead of eight. Most course participants receive a multi-year insurance discount after taking this course.

Material fees are $20 for non-AARP members and $15 for AARP members.

Sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 8, 2014 and April 12, 2014.

Classes are held at Senior Circle, 215 N. Beeline Hwy., Payson. Please call to register for the class at (928) 472-9290.

Women’s Wellness Forum

In just 32 days the Mogollon Health Alliance, Payson Regional Medical Center and Rim Country Health will host the 16th annual Women’s Wellness Forum — A Healthy Woman Event — on Saturday, March 29.

The Forum will focus on the importance of sleep for physical, mental and emotional health. Every year the forum hosts physicians, medical practitioners and other professionals who share their time and expertise.

The $15-session also features a keynote address by humorist Bobbie Stanten. Join MHA, PRMC and RCH March 29 at Payson High School Auditorium.
