Senior Circle Members Have New Eye Care Benefit


The Payson Regional Medical Center’s Senior Circle is a national, non-profit organization that encourages a healthy and active lifestyle for adults 50 and older. Membership is $15 year and allows you to enjoy health talks presented by our local physicians, social activities, exercise programs and travel opportunities. You will also enjoy local and national discounts for prescriptions, vision care, hearing aids, hotel rooms, car rentals and more. Stop by and check us out. We are located at 215 N. Beeline Highway, Payson. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon on Friday. Call (928) 472-9290 for a membership application.

Tonto Apache Gym – Open Enrollment

As a Senior Circle member, you are entitled to a substantial discount at the Tonto Apache Gym. Take advantage of this discount by signing up during the open enrollment period. The open enrollment period is going on now through the end of the month of January. Gym dues are $52 for the following three-month period (February, March and April) and are payable at Senior Circle.

Benefits update

Effective Jan. 1, 2014, Senior Circle and VSP have joined forces to provide you with an affordable eye care plan. Present your membership card or Senior Circle membership ID number at the doctor’s office to receive your discount.

Discounts include 20 percent off the VSP doctor’s fee for an exam, lenses and frame.

VSP guarantees service from VSP doctors only. In the event of a conflict between this information and your organization’s contract with VSP, the terms of the contract will prevail.

The current benefit with EyeMed will terminate in March 2014.
