Calculus Issue Moot

Check out the number of Payson students that enter a four-year college and then check out how many “finish” in four years and graduate.

So being the brightest students has nothing to do with needing calculus.

Translation: Very few Payson students that enter a four-year college ever graduate.

So calculus being offered is a moot.

Mr. Clayton, Your reasoning is beyond comprehension. So it's your opinion that data shows that very few students from Payson graduate from college , therefore a higher level math course ,calculus, not being offered is a moot point. What century and planet are you from? Would anyone not want their children to recieve the absolute best highschool education? Your comments just enforce the need , here in Payson , to improve the curriculum....not gut it.
