Support Pro-Life Efforts

Pearl Buck has been quoted as saying, “... the test of a civilization is the way that it cares for its helpless members.”

In our society, none are more helpless than unborn babies, and yet none are more threatened than unborn babies. In spite of that, abortion continues to be legal and the slaughter of unborn babies continues. Abortion is now even funded by our federal tax dollars.

As we mourn the Jan. 22, 1973 legalization of abortion in our nation, may each of us do what we can to support pro-life candidates, life-saving pregnancy centers, the Center for Arizona Policy and Care Net. We should also each be grateful that our parents allowed us to live.

In the time it has taken to read this letter, two more unborn babies in the United States have lost that opportunity.

Somehow, we have decided an unborn baby is not worthy of life. Life is so precious yet we have been trained to kill innocent children. Sadly, abortion is accepted by people who have been brainwashed by a system which trains us that humans are a simply a product of evolution and there no moral absolutes. Everything is relative. Our public schools and television promotes humanism, evolution and the new religion of atheism and we think it is smart and good. Atheism leads to only one thing, communism. We forget that Nelson Mandela was an abortion loving murdering communist, but we lower our flags and worship him. We made a thug look like a messiah because we have preferred this information. We watch in horror daily violence and blame guns for killings forgetting that we have trained people to hate each other. Church leaders avoid teaching proper identity and making followers of Jesus while making no effect to protect and love the unborn, sick, naked or imprisoned. Church leaders avoid teaching that love is a verb avoiding any possible persecution while collecting a nice paycheck, title and vacation. I do not know of any church leaders who stand for the rights of the unborn other than in an academic stance nor will love without conditions. The primary reason is that very few really believe that God exists, for if they did, there would be action to promote love. Somehow we prefer human rights over moral obligations and forgotten where we get our authority. Where do you get your authority? Is it television, news, public education, Karl Marx or the Holy Bible? I hope Lord Jesus returns soon, for I had enough of this World. Most of the church prefers neglecting these issues, spiritual abuse or self-promotion or knowing a little about Jesus. I want to promote gentle healing and that only comes from Lord Jesus knowing you. Matthew 7:22
Therefore God delivered them over in the cravings of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served something created instead of the Creator, who is praised forever.

Sell that to some poor girl who is pregnant with no one to turn to and no unemployment benefits or food stamps. How about a little empathy for those whose story you don't know!

Hey Ted, how about we sell the pregnant girl on abstinence before she gets pregnant. Then society won't have the problem to deal with in the first place. How about a little empathy for time honored societal values that proved effective most of the time.

Ted, Who the hell are you talking about? We have so many government sponsored programs in this country...your poor girl doesn't exist. This country , with it's socialistic adminstration , is creating the justification for not taking ANY responsibility for one's actions.

Ted,

If you are implying that the 55 Million babies murdered since the passage of Roe v Wade were the result of "some poor girl who is pregnant with no one to turn to and no unemployment benefits or food stamps.", then you my friend took too much Agent Orange in "Nam and need to see a doctor.

Ted, if your "poor girl" has no one to turn to...how in the heck did she get pregnant? Oh, that's right, it is ok to have sex with whomever you please and pro-create, because, what the heck, you can always get an abortion under Obummer-care. Yeppers, a quick scrape, scrape and then scoop, scoop, turn the vacuum on, and voila, your "poor girl" is free to head right to the grocery store with her AZ EBT card.

Your scenario is exactly what is wrong with our society...no morals, no respect for oneself or ones body, no respect for the blessing of procreation. Instead it is all about what feels good right now; and then who is going to take care of me when I make bad decisions.

How about your "poor girl" waiting to have unprotected sex until she is married, and then has her HUSBAND to turn to. And how about her getting off her lazy duff and shutting the tube off and getting a job, or going to school, and buying her own groceries and medical care.

Gaaaahhh, I think you make these comments just to push buttons. Seriously, can a grown man of a certain age really be this obtuse?
