87 Mountain Biking Club meets Wednesday
87 Mountain Biking Club meets at 4 p.m. every Wednesday at the 87 Bike Shop, 907 S. Beeline Highway, Payson.
Members have group trail rides throughout Gila County for every level of rider (beginners to advanced). Everyone is encouraged to join and learn about all the great mountain biking trails Payson and the surrounding area has to offer.

Tai Chi and Qigong
Tai Chi and Qigong classes are offered at 9 a.m. Saturdays at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church parish hall, 1000 N. Easy St., Payson.
The program is especially designed for seniors 50 or older, but is beneficial for all ages. There is no charge, but donations are accepted to help the church with utility bills.

Overeaters Anonymous meets from 2 p.m. Mondays at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, Payson.
There are no fees or dues. The only membership requirement is a desire to not compulsively overeat anymore.

Payson Lions Club
Payson Lions Charitable Foundation and its parent Payson Lions Club serve Rim Country by conducting service and fund-raising projects to help those in need of eye exams and eyeglasses as well as hearing exams and hearing aids.
Membership in Lions is open to all adults interested in giving something back to their community. Ideas for improving our community are welcome. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. every fourth Monday of the month.

Payson Area Singles
We are a social group for men and women of all ages. We have no dues and no pressure.
Get out of the house and join us for our weekly breakfast at Tiny’s on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Come find out what activities are planned or suggest something new.
On Sunday, March 30 members meet at Jake’s Corner from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to enjoy the jam session.
At 5 p.m., the second Friday of the month, the group gathers for the fish fry at the American Legion.
The third Tuesday of the month, members have dinner at Sal and Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant at 5 p.m.

Moose Lodge events
The Loyal Order of the Moose meetings are at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The Women of the Moose meet at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month.
The lodge has a Thursday Fish Fry from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and weekly dinner specials are available.

Rim Country 4 Wheelers
Members of the Rim Country 4 Wheelers (RC4W) invite anyone interested in four-wheel-drive back road travel to join them at 9 a.m. Wednesdays in the Bashas’ shopping center parking lot in front of the Big 5 store.
The route and destination may be prescheduled or may be decided on the spot; the level of difficulty may range from easy to moderate. Saturday trips are also scheduled at least once a month and are usually decided on at the previous month’s meeting. For all trips, have a full tank of gas, lunch, and a lawn chair.

The Mogollon Chapter 1235 of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees holds its monthly no-host luncheon and meeting Wednesday, March 26 starting at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. The meetings are held at Tiny’s Restaurant, 600 E. Highway 260, Payson.
This month, the featured speaker will be Brendan French from Miracle Ear Co. All active and retired federal employees are invited to attend.

Payson’s Relay For Life interest meeting
The Payson’s Relay For Life event is being organized now. A Relay Interest meeting is planned at 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 26 at the Payson Regional Medical Center’s Senior Circle, 215 N. Beeline Highway, Payson.
Everyone thinking about participating in the 2014 event or needing more information before deciding to take part is invited to attend the meeting.
Rim Country Coalition
The Rim Country Coalition meeting time has changed to accommodate more people. The group now meets at 1 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month at the Payson Senior Center.
At the March 27 meeting, Ray Baxter will be the guest speaker. He teaches computer classes geared to seniors and is currently teaching at Gila Community College.
Community Open House Crock Pot Sunday
Rim Country residents and visitors are invited to a crock pot Sunday Open House Luncheon at 11 a.m., Sunday, March 30 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, Payson.
Lunch, offered by the people of S.O.T.P., will include desserts and drinks.
