Bobby Mollere, a resident of Mead’s Ranch and member of the Hellsgate Fire Department has answered his final call.
I’ve known Bobby for over 50 years ... since he was about 10 when he, his sisters, and dad moved to Mead’s Ranch. He helped his dad build their home and I recall his being the “go-pher” tool boy that his dad sent for a hammer or saw or whatever.
He loved the Payson area and Mead’s Ranch especially, and he was happiest when he was “puttering” or helping others “putter” as well. We used to talk about retirement on the Ranch and how great it was.
Bobby was a rare individual who was always there with a helping hand for others as has been attested to by his many friends. I recall one time when I had surgery and a broken water line along with the procedure.
Bobby went under my house and fixed the line for us in a matter of minutes and I’m sure he’s on the streets of heaven doing the same for the heavenly hosts.
Bobby, along with his wonderful wife Willie, were the type of neighbors everyone should have. Their love for the many birds they adopted over the years was quite touching. We always looked forward to hearing about their feathered friends.
A great human being, Bobby will be missed by all of us ... they don’t come any better.
