The Kiwanis Club of Zane Grey Country Charitable Foundation sponsors an Auction for Youth each spring. The event was held April 5, 2014 at the Mazatzal Casino in Payson.

This is the main event sponsored by Kiwanis to raise funds needed to award scholarships to graduating Payson High School students. One hundred percent of all proceeds raised at the Auction for Youth fund scholarships. Administrative expenses for the club are provided directly from club members and no funds from the auction or any other Kiwanis fundraiser are ever used for that purpose.

This year’s Auction for Youth was a great success and the Kiwanis Club of Zane Grey Country Charitable Foundation wishes to publicly express its sincere appreciation for the many citizens and businesses of Rim Country for their support. Specifically, the Foundation wishes to acknowledge the Patrons that provided exceptional monetary or in-kind support of the auction.

There are four levels of Patron support and donations were in cash, merchandise or service. Patrons that supported the auction were:

$1,000 — Elite Patrons: Payson Roundup, Bill & Kathryn Lee

$750 — Grand Patrons: Center Point Dental, Charles Beier DMD

$500 — Royal Patrons: Arizona Rustic Furniture, Chaparral Pines Country Club, Frontier Dental Arts, Payson Jewelers, Rim Country Club, Roy Haught

$250 — Stellar Patrons: Hal Snyder, High Desert Dentistry, Main Street Decorating, Messinger’s Payson Funeral Home, Miller Auto Works, Payson Concrete, Payson Eye Care Center, Pioneer Title, Sawmill Theatre, Seely, Mullins & Assoc. PC, Stellar Capital Management, Staudt Therapy Services.

Again, the Kiwanis Club of Zane Grey Country Charitable Foundation is most appreciative of the support provided by Rim Country citizens and businesses as Kiwanis, a global organization of dedicated volunteers, continues its mission of changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

“Children are the messengers we send into a future we will never see.” — Neil Postman, 1931-2003
