We Found America

Recently we bought a home in Payson Pines. We had been looking at this one special home and were lucky enough to get it.

So we took a walk around the area to look things over. We went down this one street and every single house had a real, honest to goodness flagpole. Imagine that, just like it used to be, people proudly flying Old Glory way up high.

I couldn’t help but think about all the people in other parts of the country who are being sued for flying the flag and saying the pledge.

So this is where I’ll live the rest of my days, right here among my fellow Americans.

Maybe we found a piece of the good old days, and part of America that has been lost to so many.

And guess what I’m going to get put up in my yard? A real tall one too!

Welcome to Payson but please don't start with the weird stuff...no one is being sued for saying the pledge of allegiance. It is said in all schools in all of America each day...ask a teacher. That kind of misinformation creates the very hate that you claim you want to avoid. Just sayin'.

Be advised that the above poster is one of 3 liberal socialists who live in the area and likes to hate against others on this forum. Otherwise, Payson is exactly what you have described. The vast majority are on the conservative side in their politics, values, and morals. Most have relocated here from some major urban area to escape all the negatives that they represent. So what you wrote about is not weird to the majority who live here. Welcome aboard to Payson and fly your flag proudly with the rest.

Welcome to Payson, Dell! My husband and I love it here, too. Fly the American flag proudly.
