Kaitie’S Closet Honors Volunteers

Jack and Barbara Gooch hosted a luncheon at the Pizza Factory for the 25 volunteers of Kaitie’s Closet.

Kaitie’s Closet serves the children of Rim Country with new and gently used clothing and shoes.

“We distribute each month at Payson Unified School District,” said Barbara.“Many of the foster children that had to leave their homes need help,” she said.

The volunteers help the Gooches set up for distribution, mend and sort clothes, collect donations, and tag and fold the clothes. Kaitie’s Closet has pink donation boxes throughout town at schools, Payson Physical Therapy, Scoops and Valley Imaging, to name a few locations.

The organization always seeks clothing donations and now desperately needs a new location to house clothing ready for donations.
