William P. Baker 1927 - 2008
William P. Baker died Dec. 17, 2008 at the hospice center in Payson. He was born March 13, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to William and Bessie Baker.
He served in the U.S. Navy three years and as a Merchant Marine for 10 years.
Mr. Baker was member of the American Legion in Payson. He also worked as an aerospace machinist.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine of Payson; daughters, Carol of Phoenix and Terry of Golden Valley; sons, Mark and Gary, both of Texas, John of Show Low, and Steve of Payson.
The cremation service is pending.
