William Danie Hunt

William Daniel Hunt, 90, of Payson, Ariz. died Oct. 5, 2008. He was born in Bixby, Okla. July 1, 1918.
He moved to Phoenix in 1951, where he was a preacher for the Church of Christ for 50 years, and retired as a Sunnyslope High School English teacher/tennis coach.
He married Ruby I. Brooks on Dec. 1, 1935, in Joplin, Mo., and they celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary this past year.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; oldest son, Danny of Payson, Ariz.; two sisters, Marguerite Miller of Payson, Ariz. and Mary Jo Gregoire of California; two brothers, Jimmy Hunt of California, and Donald Hunt of Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Gary Hunt of Phoenix, Ariz. and two brothers, Wayne Hunt of Colorado and Bobby Hunt of Payson, Ariz.
Visitation will be held at Payson Church of Christ, 402 E. Tyler Pkwy, Payson, Ariz. from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, with services to follow at 2 p.m. DeWayne Andrew and Dell Kimberly will be presiding.
