Anthony Frank Zingales Jr
1933 - 2008
Anthony (Tony) Frank Zingales Jr. died on Oct. 18, 2008. He was born June 2, 1933 in Chicago, Ill. to Anthony Frank Zingales Sr. and Marie Alonza Zingales.
He married Ronzella (Ronnie) Diane Vanette Zingales and they had recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Zingales retired to Hunter Creek in 1992 after many years as an aeronautical engineer for McDonald Douglas, and then Boeing Aircraft Company. In 1998 the Zingaleses moved to Payson.
He was a member of Christopher Creek Bible Fellowship and the Men’s Bible Study Fellowship.
Mr. Zingales was proud of his service to his country in the United States Navy.
He was an advocate for animals through his involvement with Paws in the Park and worked very hard to make the dog park a reality. He will be missed by his faithful pet, Muffie.
He is survived by his wife, Ronnie; sister, Dolly Nelson; son, John Anthony (Debbie) Zingales; daughters, Linda Sue Dean and Ranee Loree (Joe) Forney; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one brother, James Zingales; and one daughter, Ronda Diane Smith.
Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, with the viewing at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. at the Christopher Creek Bible Church. Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday Oct. 27 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
Memorial donations in Tony Zingales’ name may be made to the Payson Humane Society.
