Lois S. Lister

Lois S. Lister died Sept. 13, 2008 at Odyssey Health Care. She was born Sept. 22, 1923 in Mesa.
She graduated from Mesa High School in 1941.
Mrs. Lister lived in Mesa her entire life; she worked at Cost +10 Markets and Wrights Markets, which became Hahn’s, and retired Nov. 3, 1989.
She was married to Tom Lister, who preceded her in death. Her parents AC (Jake) and Gertrude Sanborn also preceded her in death, as did her sister, Inez Bruno.
She is survived by her four children, Bill Lister, Pat Taylor, Kathy Collins and Tom Lister; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 19 at Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive in Mesa.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center.
