Barbara Arp died Sept. 18, 2008 in Payson. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif. to George W. Fischer and Theresa B. Miller. She was a resident of Payson for 20 years, moving here with her husband, John D. Arp (deceased) from Palo Verde, Calif. where they owned their own business. She is survived by her sons, John D. Arp Jr. of Big Bear Lake, Calif. and Robert S. Arp of Carlisle, Pa.; brother, George Fischer of Rosamond, Calif.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A third son, Gary Fremling, preceded her in death. Memorial donations may be made to RTA Hospice and Palliative Care, 511 S. Mud Springs Road, Payson, AZ 85541.
