Ellen Dietz, 59, of Payson, died April 20, 2009.
Ms. Dietz was the wife of Walter H. Bourguignon and they had moved to Arizona from New York to enjoy semi-retirement.
She was born in the Capital District area of New York, the daughter of the late Walter and Frances Dietz.
She grew up on the Meadow Falls Farm, Dean’s Mill Road, West Coxsackie, N.Y. — a farm that had been in the family for seven generations.
She graduated from Coxsackie-Athens High School. After graduating from Dutchess County Community College and University of Buffalo she worked in various capacities in the dental health care field. Most recently Ms. Dietz authored a monthly newsletter, continuing education courses and textbook for dental health care workers.
In addition to her husband, Walter H. Bourguignon; she is survived by a sister, Margaret Meyer or Florida.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29 at the New Baltimore, N.Y. Reformed Church. There will be no viewing hours.
