A memorial service for Henry “Lee” Gassaway, 78, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8 at the Tonto Basin School in Punkin Center, with Troy Grant, Don Shumake and Eric Woods officiating.
Mr. Gassaway died July 8, 2009. He was born May 17, 1931 to Henry and Hazel Gassaway in Phoenix.
He was a retired first sergeant with the Tucson Police Department. After retirement, he enjoyed many years as a fishing guide at Roosevelt Lake. He was also a member of Tucson Masonic Lodge #4.
