Paquita E. Dimbat

Paquita E. Dimbat, 86, passed away Aug. 25, 2009 in Payson. She was born May 7, 1923 in Dos Cabezas, Ariz. to Charles Lee and Artie Burkett Dudley. She grew up in Phoenix, graduating from North Phoenix High School.
She married Warner A. “Bud” Dimbat on June 8, 1941 in Klamath Falls, Ore.
She moved back to the Payson area in 1949. She was employed at Payson Concrete and Materials for 27 years.
She enjoyed visiting with her grandparents, Columbus Otis and Mary Caroline Burkett, who lived in Joplin, Mo., and listening to their stories. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, playing the piano when she was younger, and friends, but not being the center of attention.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Lee (KD) Owens of Weed, Calif.; son, Charles “Doc” (Evelynn) Dimbat of Payson; aunt, Hazel Owens of Payson; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Payson Pioneer Cemetery.
