Candice “Candy” Hart

Candice Hart gave cancer a courageous and spirited fight. She died at home on Jan. 30, 2009.
She was born in Wooster, Mass. and had been a resident of Christopher Creek for 36 years. She was involved in numerous fund-raising projects for the community and her neighbors. She was an active member of the Christopher Creek/Double “D” girls pool group and often won the first place weekly trophy.
Mrs. Hart was an avid horsewoman and had a great love for the outdoors and all living things.
She is survived by her best friend, her dog, Shado; brother, Danny of Buffalo, N.Y.; nephew, niece, cousins and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and brother.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Christopher Creek Bible Church. Donations may be made in Mrs. Hart’s name to RTA Hospice House, 511 S. Mud Springs, Payson, AZ 85541.
