Dalton M. Fogle
Dr. Dalton M. Fogle of Payson died Dec. 26, 2008 at hospice, with family and friends around.
He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the 101 airborne, participated in drop behind German lines the night before D-Day. Dr. Fogle was a POW for almost one year in Rundorf Labor Camp Stalag 12a.
He and his wife were members of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, La Verne B. Fogle; son, Al Boyd Fogle of Long Beach, Calif.; and daughter, Cheryl Bower of El Paso, Texas.
Services were held Jan. 5 at the church and Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
