Douglas Theodore Vernon
Douglas Theodore Vernon died Dec. 30, 2008 at Scottsdale Healthcare Hospital. He was born April 1, 1941 in St. Louis, Mo.
A resident of Payson, he is survived by his wife, Jackie Vernon; two daughters, Tiffany Phillips and Angela Vernon; three sons, and one daughter-in-law, Brian and Marlana Vernon, Dusten Vernon and Douglas Vernon; two sisters, Linda Tinius and Helen Vogel; two brothers, Edward Vernon and Robert Vernon; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita and Douglas Vernon.
Services were held Jan. 6 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Dan Green officiating. Interment is at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
