Payson Roundup

William “Bill” R. Anderson, 68, of Crystal Lake, Ill. died Jan. 5, 2009. He was born June 13, 1940 in Willmar, Minn. to Carlton and Elaine (Daugherty) Anderson.
On Oct. 29, 1966, he married Bonnie M. Crumb in Phoenix.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Anderson enjoyed spending time with family and friends and hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Anderson; daughters, Lynn (Ned) Reckamp of Crystal Lake, Ill. and Kelly (Dirk) Stanger of Lakewood, Ill.; grandchildren, Ryan Anderson, Paige Reckamp, Hutton Reckamp, Mason Reckamp, Madison Stanger, Myles Stanger, Graham Reckamp and Emerson Stanger; brothers, Barry Anderson of Phoenix and Bob Anderson of Prescott; and sister, Meme (Kenny) Heflin of Payson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Katie Anderson; and two brothers, Brad Anderson and Michael Anderson.
Services were Jan. 9 at the Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Road in McHenry, Ill.
Interment was at Crystal Lake Memorial Park in Crystal Lake, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Karolyn Huinker Student Assistance Fund at Montini Catholic School in McHenry, Ill.
