Donald (Don) James Hill
February 21, 1937 - June 9, 2009
Donald (Don) James Hill was born in Gary, Ind. Feb. 21,1937, and left this world on June 9, 2009 in Payson.
He spent his early life in Southern California, but relocated to Payson in 1973 where he was known for many years and was owner of Hill’s Auto Body.
He leaves behind five children, Kerry Rae (Morris) Tatum and Christine Brunson by his first marriage, Candy (Beeler) Chamberlain, Donnie Hill and Casey Hill. All of his children reside in the Payson area except Candy, who currently resides in Washington.
His grandchildren are: Rebecca Morris Conway and Jerry Michael Morris; Jeremy Lee; Tyler and Nicholas Brunson; Katrina, Tony and Stephanie Beeler; Brant Hill; Adam Chamberlain; and Hunter Silvestri. Mr. Hill’s great-grandchildren are Gage, Tanner, Logan and Jayden Conway; Brandon and Shelby Morris; and Kya, Dalton and Tawnee Brunson.
He is also survived by his first wife, Diane Bergeron; his brother, Richard Hill and family of Corning, Calif.; and sister, Patricia Anderson and family of Riverside, Calif.
Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his second wife, Janet Nekvasil, the mother of Candy, Casey and Don Jr.
