Ronzella (Ronnie) Zingales
March 10, 1936 - June 26, 2009
Ronzella (Ronnie) Zingales, 73, of Payson, died June 26, 2009. She was born March 10, 1936 in Fort Wayne, Ind. to Adrian and Ardith Hagerty.
She moved to Orange County, Calif. and met and married Tony Zingales in 1961. She worked for Douglas Aircraft for many years and retired in 1992. Upon retirement, Ronnie and Tony made their home in Hunter Creek until 1999 when they moved to Payson.
Mrs. Zingales was a dog lover and she had her faithful dog, Muffy, along with her family by her side when she peacefully passed away. She supported PAWS in the Park and the Humane Society. She also loved gardening and was a member of the High Country Garden Club. Mrs. Zingales had studied ballet for a number of years as a child. As an adult she attended many exercise classes and exercised with grace and beauty. She was a member of the Christopher Creek Bible Church for many years and was very active in Bible studies and other church-related activities.
Mrs. Zingales is survived by her sister, Karyne K. Copeland; brothers, Roy V. (Joanne) Hagerty and Dean D. (Susie) Hagerty; daughters, Ranee L. (Joe) Forney and Linda Dean; and son, John A. (Deborah) Zingales. She has 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Ardith Hagerty; her beloved husband, Tony Zingales; and her daughter, Ronda Streeter.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 1 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero Drive.
