R.E. “Whit” Whittington

R.E. “Whit” Whittington died March 9, 2009 at his home in Deer Creek Village. He was born March 16, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to E.H. and Dorothy Whittington.
Mr. Whittington served in the U.S. Navy and owned and operated several successful businesses. He had a passion for motorcycles, boating, cars and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Linda; his son, Richard (Raylene) Whittington of Payson; grandsons, Ryan (Lacie) Whittington of Camptonville, Calif. and Taylor Whittington of Payson; granddaughters, Sharri of Grass Valley, Calif., Tracy of Colorado Springs Colo.; and nine great-grandchildren.
