Blaine Alden Sauder
February 3, 1934 - May 4, 2009
Blaine Alden Sauder, 75, of Payson, died May 4, 2009. He was born Feb. 3, 1934 in Bryant, S.D. to Alden Edward (Speck) Sauder and Agnes (Krogh) Sauder.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Edward Sauder.
Mr. Sauder is survived by his ex-wife, Alma; daughter, Kristan L. Dillon and her husband Wayne Dillon, both of Payson; two grandchildren, George Allan Elwood Redwine, a Payson graduate, and Cecilia Ann Venable, 9; and two pets, Little Guy and Fritz.
He attended Madison High, Madison, S.D., graduating in 1952 and the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, S.D. from 1952 to 1956. He was senior accountant at Carnation Ice Cream for 35 years.
Mr. Sauder loved Payson, eating at the Beeline Cafe, and traveling. He very much loved his dogs and visiting K-9 Kamp, their home away from home.
He will be missed by his family and friends in Payson and in his home state of South Dakota.
A celebration of life with a potluck luncheon will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 6 at the K-9 Kamp in Diamond Point, 98 Claxton, Diamond Point, (928) 472-9012.
