Helen Hodges, 87, died Oct. 30, 2009 at her home in Payson.
She came to Yuma, Ariz. in the summer of 1952 with her husband and two sons.
Mrs. Hodges was employed at the Yuma Proving Grounds as a logistical budget analyst until her retirement in 1972.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Clinton Logan and Amy Logan of Rising Sun, Md. and her first husband Louis Barr.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Hodges of 52 years, her two sons, Lanny (Absley) Barr of Farmington, N.M. and Mike (Deana) Barr of Yuma, Ariz., three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at Johnsons Mortuary Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, with interment at the Yuma Cemetery Mausoleum.
