Sherwood A. Clow, died Oct. 10, 2009 in Payson. He was born May 10, 1916 in Albany, N.Y. to George F. Clow and Ethelyn Snyder Clow.
He was a graduate of Cornell University where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He retired as lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Army, having served in World War II in both the Philippines and Japan.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Clow was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor Mary Little.
Surviving Mr. Clow are his spouse, Nina Clow; daughter, Karen Slaugh; son, Bruce Clow; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct 15 at the Mogollon Ward of the LDS Church, 913 S. Ponderosa. Interment is at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15 at Cave Creek National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
