Helen Louise Galor Bernard
Helen Louise Galor Bernard was born Dec. 12, 1923 to Robert and Emma Yvonne Nix in Marshville, Mo.
In addition to raising four children, John, Charlene, Greg and Norlan, she became grandmother to three, Ashley, Justin and Dylan.
During her professional years she was an executive secretary with the Monsanto Corporation, from which she retired.
Following her retirement from Monsanto, she maintained, repaired and sold used typewriters. She also took training and became a licensed real estate agent.
During her years in real estate she also specialized in home refurbishment for resale.
Throughout her life Mrs. Bernard was an upbeat, friendly person; she loved and excelled in ballroom dancing.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan (Ike) Bernard, whom she married Nov. 10, 1997 in the Mesa LDS Temple.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the Payson Stake Building.
