Ben Thomas Moloney died Sept. 5, 2009 in Phoenix. He was born Oct. 16, 1958 in Phoenix. He was born and died at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He had a military memorial with honors, Sept. 12 in Prescott at the Veterans Hospital. He was in the U.S. Army, as were all his ancestors.
He worked in Phoenix with Arizona Public Service and for Waste Management in Payson. He lived in the state of Washington from 1966 to 1975. He was a great storyteller and always had everyone laughing. He loved to go fishing and camping, as well as gold panning and target practice.
Mr. Moloney is survived by his mother, Mary June Kirkland of Payson; brother, Randy Eugene Moloney of Bonney Lake, Wash.; son, Thomas Matthew Moloney; nieces, Perri Lee Moloney, Auburn, Wash. and Dianna Lee Leighton, Huntington Beach, Calif. Also surviving are Robert A. Reuter of San Pedro, Calif., Robert Rueter Jr. and Lori Lee Blumhagen of Redmond, Wash., Jessica Lee Blumhagen of Woodinville, Wash. and Ema Lee Blumhagen of Redmond, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas H. Moloney and sister, Perri Lee Moloney.
