Bertha Alfrida Tutill

Bertha Alfrida Tutill died Feb. 9, 2010 in Payson. She was born July 18, 1921 in Bathhurst, New Brunswick, Canada to John Gilbert Imhoff and Bridget Doucet.
She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as leading aircraftwoman from February 1942 to November 1945 at RCAF headquarters in London, England. She also worked as a third-grade teacher in Bathhurst from 1938 to 1940 and managed a dry cleaning business from 1967 to 1980.
Away from work, Mrs. Tutill enjoyed camping, skiing and volunteer work with her church.
She married Ronald P. Tutill on June 28, 1946 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Mr. Tutill preceded her in death, as did seven sisters and five brothers.
Her daughter, Barbara Tutill and son, Graham Tutill, survive her, as do three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
