Vinzenz Sabo

Vinzenz Sabo, 81, passed away July 15, 2010. He was born in Yugoslavia to Peter Sabo and Maria Beck Sabo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Renate (Josef) Ratschan, Heidi (Joseph) Gillis and Theresa (Roy) Rohter; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sabo came to the U.S. from Yugoslavia in 1957. He and his family settled in Chicago, Ill. He was an active member of the Danube Schwabians. In 1978 he moved to Phoenix and worked for Continental Bank. He was an excellent wood carver. He was a member of St. Theresa Church in Phoenix.
“He will be greatly missed by all who loved him,” his family writes.
