Terry Lynn Egler Martin 1960 - 2010
Terry Lynn Egler Martin, 50, of Marlow, Okla., died June 16, 2010 at her home in Marlow.
Services were held June 21 at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Duncan, Okla., with the Rev. David Woods, the Rev. Ron Meador and the Rev. Larry Martin officiating.
Burial followed in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow.
Mrs. Martin was born June 12, 1960 in Detroit, Mich. to Sil and Darlene (Dunny) Egler, who now reside in Payson. She graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, N.M. and moved to Marlow from New Mexico in 1979.
She married Daniel Martin on Nov. 10, 2001 in the Redbud Chapel in Marlow and owned and operated Sudz and Sass Salon and Clothing in Marlow for 13 years.
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and liked gardening, horses and decorating. She loved people and loved making them feel better. She enjoyed going to church and studying the Bible. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church of Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hilbert and Verena Egler and John and Ina Dunny; and a nephew, Danny Egler.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Daniel; sons and a daughter-in-law, William (Jennifer) Staats of Oklahoma City, Okla., Christopher Staats of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Corey Martin of Pawhuska, Okla.; two daughters, Candice Staats of Chickasha, Okla. and Brooke Martin of Edmond, Okla.; four grandchildren, Rilyn Martin, Jerne Martin, Emma Staats and Brinley Lodes; her parents, Sil and Darlene Egler of Payson; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Dennis (Janet) Egler of Dublin, Calif., Don Egler of Phoenix and Darryl Egler of Payson; two brothers-in-law, Austin (Cindy) Martin of Comanche, Okla. and Larry (T.J.) Martin of Pensacola, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Dorenda Speed of Duncan, Okla.
Pallbearers were Dennis Egler, Darryl Egler, Austin Martin, Charles Weeaks and Jeff Egler.
