Douglas Simpson

Douglas William Simpson, 65, of Payson, died March 1, 2010.
He was the son of Byard Simpson and Katherine Baufle Simpson, both deceased.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Simpson of Payson; daughters, Cheryl (Jack) Slatalla and Donna (Mark) Gallik; sons, Matthew (Michelle) Simpson; sisters, Cheryl Simpson, Bonnie Simpson (deceased); and 11 grandchildren.
A life-long resident of Chicago, Ill., Mr. Simpson retired in 2006 to become a full-time RVer. He and his wife Pat toured the country in their fifth-wheel trailer until they decided to settle in Payson in 2009.
He was member of Christian Fellowship Church in Chicago, Ill. and belonged to Escapees RV Club. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
His family would like to thank Hospice Compassus for their service in his final days.
