Fred Clarence Ehrig Sr.

Fred Clarence Ehrig Sr., 85, of Payson, died March 3, 2010 in Payson. He was born Feb. 19, 1925 in Stockton, Calif. to Carl and Helen Ehrig.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and married Dorothy on Oct. 10, 1946.
Mr. Ehrig was a superintendent for Weber Aircraft in California and Texas for 41 years. He enjoyed 4-by-4 off roading, dune buggies, fishing and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin; and son, Fred Jr.
Mr. Ehrig is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Helena M. Loven of California and Annette M. Simmons of Arizona; five grandchildren, Dennis Loven and Janette Loven, both of California, Jeremy Ehrig, Veronica Ehrig and Tanya Ehrig, all of Arizona; and two great-grandchildren, Jule Loven of California and Onya Ehrig of Arizona.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, March 12 at the Rainbow Chapel of Rose Hills Mortuary in California.
