Zeida E. Carter passed away peacefully May 5, 2010 in Payson. She was born June 16, 1920 in Wilmington, Del. to Perla and James Halter.
Mrs. Carter had made her home in Arizona for the last 56 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, writes her family.
She is survived by her devoted children, Barbara (Jerry) Orcutt, Terrance J. Carter and Betty Ann Carter; her nine treasured grandchildren and 16 precious great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her adored husband of 50 years, Harley Winslow Carter; and their much loved son, Harley R. Carter.
Visitation was Tuesday, May 11 at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, with services at 2 p.m. Burial followed at Phoenix Memorial Park.
